Looking for youth baseball bats, but not sure which one to choose from? Let me help you. According to the survey I'm currently running, the companies that make the best youth baseball bats are Easton, Combat, and DeMarini. These are the opinions of my readers. Participate in the survey and check out my opinion of the best youth baseball bat here.
The difference in youth baseball bats and adult bats is the difference in the "drop" (the difference between the length in inches, and the weight in ounces). Adult bats have a limit of a -3 drop. Youth bats do not have this limitation. Some leagues allow the use of "big barrel youth baseball bats," or senior league bats. Make sure you know the rules of the league you or your child is playing in before choosing your bat.
One of the most popular Easton youth baseball bats is the Stealth Speed 75, pictured below.

One of the most popular models from Combat is the B2 Bomber, pictured below. This bat was used by many in the Little League World Series in 2009, and a kid at our local Little League hit over 20 home runs this season with this bat.

Probably the most popular from DeMarini is their front-runner, the CF4. I know of and have heard of many players who swear by the CF3 and CF4 models.

The thing that all three of the bats above have in common is that they use composite bat technology. If you are interested in staying away from composites, and using an all aluminum model, I recommend the Omaha from Louisville.

These are the most popular youth baseball bats on the market today. Other popular youth brands you may want to check out are Miken, Anderson, Mattingly, and the rest of the TPX bats.
