Worth Prodigy Big Barrel Bat, 2007

This bat is absolutely awesome! We had initally purchased another model bat that my son was using for summer league baseball. It served the purpose, but there was nothing special about it. We ended up purcashing the Worth bat online, and we could immediately tell the difference in performance depending on the bat used. The Worth Prodigy even sounds different. That distinctive "ting" sound when it hits the ball is second to none. Parents and kids knew when my son was up to bat because of that well-known sound. Usually, once you heard the sound, immmediately after you'd see a high-flying ball headed to the outfield! It was awesome. My son started nailing some of his first homeruns using this bat. It is exceptional and has a large sweet spot. If the ball is hit in the right place, you will most definitely see results. I did hear of some parents who bought a similar Worth bat complain of durability, but we have had no problems with ours. This is our second Worth Prodigy big barrel bat, and they both have served the purpose very well.
