Worth baseball bats for 2009 feature an all composite and an all aluminum design. Both are 1-piece bats. Although not a huge player in the baseball bat market, and more of a softball bat producer, Worth has a couple of bats you may be interested in if you're looking for less expensive models.

The
Titan bat for 2009 is an all composite 1-piece model that uses a couple
of technologies. Worth's composite bats use multiple layers of
composite material to extend the sweet spot of the bat 1 inch longer
than the competition. The bat's design consists of an inner most layer
called the Performance Inner Core, which is 2 layers of composites
cured under high heat. Next, another two layers of braided carbon is
applied, followed by a single layer of Aramid fiber (a strong
heat-resistant fiber used in aerospace and military applications for
items such as body armor).
The composite layers are then pressurized as all air is sucked out from the material, through their process called Rapid Air Vacuum (RAV). Finally, an epoxy is pulled through the carbon layers under constant pressure and heat during their Epoxy Induction Process (EIP). The idea is that ridding the bat of all air pockets and impurities creates a larger sweet spot than the competition's bats.
The
Lithium bats from Worth are aluminum 1-piece models. They use Worth's
D955 aluminum alloy, which is their strongest alloy ever. Thin walls
and optimized compression are supposed to give the bat a large sweet
spot and more trampoline effect.
As already mentioned, you may want to check into a Worth baseball bat if you're looking for something a little lower on the price scale. As of this writing (February 2009), the Titan is one of the only composite models available for less than $300 in the adult category. As always please leave reviews if you or anyone you know has used any of the Worth baseball bats.
