Nokona baseball gloves are known as some of the highest quality, and most well crafted gloves in the game. They are a company that I have just recently gotten familiar with. They are located in Texas, and are known for their extremely high quality leathers.
They use cowhide, buffalo, kangaroo leathers, and a variety of different style of webs in their gloves. One of the things that I really like about Nokona gloves is the fact that they inject oil into the leather during the tanning process in many of their gloves. This makes the glove a bit heavier, but also a lot more flexible and moist to prolong the life of the glove.
Like the other glove makers, they have several
different series of
gloves, each with different design features.
If you are interested in
purchasing a Nokona glove you can check the selection at
Baseball Express,
or check out Nokona's
official website, for more information about their gloves and
the locations of dealers near you.
Personally, I have been impressed every time I have picked up a Nokona glove, and tried one on. I have never owned one, but every one of them seemed to be very well crafted and featured very high quality leather. I would highly recommend trying one on before your next purchase. I’m going to.
