Here's a summary of the 2011 Nike baseball bats. I'll give you a rundown of the models available, any and all reviews I can find, and pricing information on each model and category.
Over the last 3 years or so, the Nike baseball bats have certainly made their way into the running among the most popular models available in the market today. A couple years ago, I wasn't sure how Nike would compete with the Eastons and Louisvilles, but Nike is definitely holding their own.
The 2011 bats are not much different than the 2010, except the paint jobs.
Important Notice!Several leagues have announced moratoriums against the use of composite bats for the 2011 baseball season. This may include many of the bats on this page. Be sure to check out the rules of the league you are playing in this year. For more info check out the baseball bat rules page. |
1The 2011 CX2 is the same as the 2010 CX2 from Nike. In case you didn't catch any info on that model, I'll explain here. It's a 2-piece all composite multi-wall design, that carries a large sweet spot. The adult model (as of July, 2010) retails for $400, the senior model for $300, and the youth model for $250.

Like the CX2, the Aero Fuse is the same from last year. It's a 2-piece hybrid model, that uses Nike's Zr91 aluminum alloy in the barrel and composite material for the handle. It is balanced and not end-loaded.The adult model costs $300, the senior model $250, and the youth is $200.

For only being out just a couple of months by now, there is no shortage of reviews at Baseball Express for these models. The concensus seems to be pretty much the same...these models are hot performers that are well-balanced. There is very little mention of the bats denting or breaking. Basically, all I read is nothing but good remarks from the 2011 Nike baseball bats.
