DeMarini bats are relatively new to the game, but from what I know they have a fairly good reputation. I have never used any of their bats, so I cannot personally give a review of their quality or performance. I would bet, however, that they make a quality product, and am sure they would not let you down.
The top of the line DeMarini bats include the Voodoo and the Vexxum (pictured). Like Easton, they have designed a bat that flexes when it is swung to help create the whip effect. Here is a look into some of the technology used by DeMarini.

This includes “Flex Tuned,” and “Half + Half.” The handles of the bats are made of composite material, rather than an alloy, which allows the barrel to flex more. It also helps to reduce the feedback on off-center hits which reduces vibration and creates a bigger sweet spot.
This is pretty neat if you ask me. It is an indicator on the bottom of the bat that reminds and helps you to rotate the bat in your hands each at bat. The idea of this is to help distribute all of the hits on the bat evenly around so that you prolong the life of the bat. This is the first time I’ve heard of any manufacturers doing this, but it makes good sense. However, do not let it distract you from the game.

Once again, I cannot personally recommend any DeMarini baseball bats, because I’ve never used any. But I have known of a few players that have, and I’m sure they make a good quality bat. Remember that the brand of bat is not as important as how it feels to you. You’ll definitely be able to purchase a good DeMarini bat for less than any top of the line Easton or Louisville bats. Google Checkout stores indicate that the average price for the adult model of the Voodoo is $290, and the Vexxum at $220. Consider a bat from DeMarini if you’re looking for a quality product on a bit of thinner budget.
