There really isn't a whole lot new to report for the 2011 Combat bats. They've added a stiff version of the B1 model, a new B3 youth model.
The B1 Bomber Stiff is a 1-piece, all composite model that is basically identical to the B1 from the 2010 series. It's only available in the adult category, and only available at Baseball Express at this time (July, 2010). It has a "balanced", or light swingweight, so it will feel lighter at the barrel than most bats. It costs $300 retail.

The B3 is a 1-piece, all composite model available in the youth category only with drops of -10 and -12. According to Combat's website, the B3 picks up where the B1 left off. They claim that the B3 is more durable and will hold out longer than the B1 did. Their website says that advances in their Blended Fiber and Aniosotropic Composite Technologies make this possible. Like most of the Combat models, it also has a long barrel. The B3 will cost you $199.

It looks as if the B1 Stiff gets good reviews at Baseball Express. If you read the B3 Youth -12 reviews, you will notice that several people complain about the bat cracking frequently. However, there is a head coach of a Little League team that says it's the hottest bat out today. The -10 model seems to be all positive reviews, but as I look at it now, there are only 4 reviews for it. Click on the links below the bat pictures to read the reviews yourself.
