Wondering what the best youth baseball bat on the market is? Take a look below at the results of the survey I've been running here on Baseball Equipment Review for the last several months to see what company is the winner. This survey contains results since July of 2009, all the way up until April of 2010. (Click here to place your vote).

The clear winner seems to be Combat, with Easton running in the 2 spot. Louisville and DeMarini get honorable mentions as well. I'll give my recommendations for specific models from the top 2 companies from the survey. If you click on any of the links below and make a purchase, I will receive a commission.
Combat is a company that has basically broken out and exploded onto the baseball scene within the last couple of years. Their main focus is composite bats only. Their 2009 B2 model is a hot performer running at the price of $250.
In case you didn't watch the Little League World Series in 2009, just about every other kid was using one of these things. We also had a kid in our local Little League this past year who hit about 20 dingers, and guess what he used. Yep, the B2 Bomber from Combat.

These are the 2 models I would probably recommend the most. They are both all composite, 2-piece models. The XL model is designed with a bit of a larger barrel to compete with Combat's model below, but both are considered the best in the game. They get great reviews at Baseball Express with the senior league models running at $300, and the youth models at $250. Click any of the links to read those reviews there.

What makes all of these bats such hot performers are the fact that they are made of composite material, and they have HUGE sweet spots. If you actually look at these things, you'll notice that they somewhat resemble a softball bat, in the fact that the barrel is the thick all the way down toward the handle.
What do you think? Do you like Easton, Combat or do you prefer another brand? Take our survey and give your vote in the form below.
