I have a commercial batting cage in my yard, and my insurance company dropped our coverage because they said they don't insure a batting cage, or commercial trampolines in a residential area. Mine is 70 ft long, 15 feet high and 10 feet wide. Can you recommend any batting cage insurance companies for a residential area?

Mimi,
Thanks for the question. I think before I can answer your question specifically, I need to ask you a couple more questions :) Are you saying that you are running a commercial batting cage business on your property for profit? Or do you just have a batting cage that was formerly used in a commercial facility and it is set up on your property for personal use?
Also, this may or may not be a stupid question. Are you saying that you had a separate commercial batting cage insurance company (apart from your homeowner's insurance) and they dropped you because it was set up in a residential zoned area? Or was it your homeowner's insurance company that dropped you?
Once again, maybe stupid questions, but I'm just trying to clarify so I can help you. You can respond to this question by posting a comment using the link below. Thanks Mimi, and if anyone else reads this and can help, please feel free to weigh in.
